The Full Moon Prayer Gathering is a core element of the CoSM Experience. Please join Alex & Allyson Grey on Thursday, April 9, at East West Galleries to reflect on the sacred nature of art, life and the world's spiritual traditions and practices. The Full Moon serves as a Sacred Mirror, reminding us to savor our reflections in poetry, music, prayer and community.
Drumming and dancing is an important part of the CoSM's community's creative expression at the Full Moon ceremony. Due to space constrictions, we are unable to hold the Drum & Dance at East West Gallery. Mz. imani has begun instigating a monthly SoulFire Drum & Dance circle at Jungle in Brooklyn. Because SoulFire NYC is intended to support the Drum & Dance Community that started at CoSM, we will donate a percentage of the profits to the building fund for the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors’ permanent home in Wappingers Falls, NY.
SoulFire collaborators include Sera Solstice, Susan Buck, Eli Morgan, Sefirah Fierce and Mz imani. If you want to be more involved with the co-creation of this event, please contact mzimani@gmail.com
